So far we really like this mattress. Although, it has some foam in the top that is very nice, it is more firm than we thought. Perhaps, the one at the store had been broke in from people lying in it. We are trying mattress toppers to soften it a little more. So far we've used a one inch and and a three inch. Two inch would probably be perfect. I did not want the pillow top due to so many reviews of those not lasting, would rather replace the topper. This isn't something that bothers me though because I want the mattress to last and the softer ones do not in my experience. This is our third mattress in 6 months and this is our favorite by far. Bought the Purple and hated it, I needed more support. This has very good edge support and doesn't seem to bend too much when sitting on the side or lying next to the edge. I think this will last us many years to come. It's hard to give a full recommendation because we've only had four days but so far it's a great mattress and I would recommend at this point.

The first few months were great however as the mattress is broken in the comfort dissipates and for 2600.00 you would think 10mos of use the mattress should be still like new I will never buy this brand again

Beautifully engineered and supportive mattress. I've had for five months. ZERO sag! I realized in the store that it was way past time to replace a 15 YRO Sterns & Foster that served me well. First night's rest on this - superior! I felt like every part of my body woke up and said THANK YOU! AND, it has only continued to get better night after night. I wake up rested, restored, and ready for the day. Simply an OUTSTANDING mattress! It's a tad pricey, BUT, you get PRECISELY what you pay for in this mattress - which is superior quality without question!

First night sleep. It's really too soft. I sink in and my legs go higher than my butt. The Pillow top is a couple inches from the mattress. My leg rubs on the mattress when I get up, as the Pillow top doesn't go all the way to the mattress. Pillow top is just too soft. I wonder if they make a plush without a pillow top. I don't think this will last 10years . I'm waiting to sleep on it a little longer to see if I get used to it. I don't see how it's going to get better, as it's already too soft.

We've been sleeping on a variety of waterbeds and decided to to try a regular mattress. What was amazing was the firmness and comfort plus when one rolls we don't disturb the other individual. Pretty high for two 70 year olds but we're learning to manage.

This mattress offers the extreme amount of support with being too soft! I went with the Cassatt Plush Pillowtop because of the great support below the luxurious pillow top, this bed no longer made me sore of have a back back. I wake up feeling refreshed. I would also highly recommend the Stearns & Foster memory foam pillows they were a wonderful and great combination with this bed! Highly recommended!

We tried the Hurston firm but it was too firm for us so we decided to skip one model (Rockwell) and purchased the Cassatt. We love how comfortable it is. It's a little heavy but very comfortable.

This is my 2nd Stearns & Foster. So I knew the quality would be exceptional. However, I got stuck with a low quality mattress for a short time till I found this website to purchase another S&F AND even got it delivered to Northern Maine. That alone was a true blessing. They don't sell this brand up here. After having a spine fusion, in perpetual pain from osteoarthritis in my spine and the rest of my body, it is such a relief to sleep on this mattress. At least now I don't wake up feeling as though I've been doing everything I am no longer capable of doing.......in my sleep. I actually wake up feeling rested. My husband also sleeps better than he ever has. This is the best gift to ourselves. A bit pricey, but worth it. Once you try this mattress, you will never settle for anything of lesser quality.

We purchased the Hurston Luxury Firm but was too firm from day one. We were told to give it a try for at least 30 days and then see what we thought about it. Also that mattresses on the store floor are used a lot and could be softer than the brand new a customer would get. Yes, after two weeks our bodies became more used to the firmness of it but we knew we wanted a more comfortable mattress. So we got the Cassatt Luxury Plush instead. It was much more better. We love it. If it helps our height and weights are 5'10" 145 and 155.

It's only been a week, I can truly say this purchase is worth the money. I love this mattress! A good night sleep is okay, but a great night sleep is a blessing. It's firm but it's soft, a perfect combination. The HD memory foam makes this a great mattress.

I currently own a Temper Pedic Cloud Supreme Breeze. The best bed I've ever owned. I didn't think I could sleep on anything else or anything else would be comparable until this bed. I'm 225 and I feel extremely supported and I don't sink in. I don't toss and turn to find the right spot. My girlfriend and I got this bed together and we both have plenty of room and support even when sleeping right next to each other. Does not sink at all. However it's extremely soft to the touch and very plush while being supportive and firm. Truly unique! This a Must buy!!

This mattress is so comfortable. I retire to the bedroom at 8:30 pm to watch tv and with my new mattress I fall asleep by 9:00 pm. I don't mean to do that, it just happens because this mattress is so comfortable. It conforms to your body and you don't want to get up. This mattress also has a ten year warranty. This mattress is superb!

I thought my first mattress was comfortable. This one is perfect. It is a combination of sinkable ahhhhhh with support. I have gotten the most restorative sleep from this mattress in my entire life. I have shoulder and neck issues, and I seep so much better with less pain. Simply amazing. It is not hot like some plush mattresses. A great combination of Tempuer-Pedic and S&F.

After 6 months on this mattress, I have chronic back pain and numbness in my legs. I'm 6'5" and 215. I'd be more comfortable sleeping on the ground than using this mattress. It works for my much smaller wife but it was a big mistake for me. $2000 wasted. Looks like I will be using the guest room for awhile.

I think this is the best matress for your money, hands down! Firm yet cushy where needed. I was surprised at how comfortable it really is. It took a couple of weeks for my body to get used to it. I even considered returning it but am so glad I decided to wait it out. I sleep much more soundly, do not have back or neck pain, or wake up in the middle of the night any more; and it just feels luxurious every morning when I wake up. Another interesting fact is that it is soooo deep! I am going to be getting a platform-style frame because it is really too tall for me on my current frame. (I'm 5'2") However, This is really another feature that adds to the luxuriousness of this beautiful mattress.

Had my first S&F mattress for almost twenty years and loved it. Replaced the old one with a cheaper lower quality mattress. Not a good move. Only lasted a couple of years, invested in our second S&F mattress and we absolutely love it!! No other mattress brand like it. I recommend it highly!!

I ordered the Lux Estate Cassatt as a replacement and hopeful upgrade from what I thought was a defective Estate Hurston. IT WAS NOT. Sterns and Foster Mattresses look to be high quality but beware not to judge this book by it's cover. The mattress caved in after two days and the box springs collapsed after one week. It was not possible to return them immediately because the Covid-19 pandemic shutdown. I was stuck storing this horrible mattress and box springs for months. With nowhere else to sleep, I was forced to endure the Lux Estate Cassatt Pillow Top Luxury Firm. How this product changed my life: I have been going to physical therapy sessions to work out the knee and hip problems caused by this horrible mattress set and wish I had never made the purchase.
