Our molded, charcoal-infused latex core is designed for those who need more support, functionality, and comfort from their pillow. It s ideal for side- and back-sleepers , while it is likely a touch firm for those who sleep on their stomach (for stomach sleepers, our Mini Green Pillow is probably a better fit). We use charcoal-infused latex because it reduces odor and manages temperature and moisture, keeping you cool and dry while ensuring evenly distributed, firm neck support.

CHARCOAL POWER

Natural charcoal has many beneficial properties for pillows, like temperature, moisture, and odor control. The charcoal comes from rice husks, whose porous structure provides charcoal with even better moisture and temperature regulation properties. Charcoal latex is created by infusing the charcoal into the natural latex mixture before vulcanization, spreading it throughout its entire core. The result is a powerful pillow that eliminates body odors and moisture - and always stays cool.

FSC® CERTIFIED LATEX

We mold the core of our Mini Molded Latex Pillow with latex - from sap collected from rubber trees (Hevea brasiliensis). Our latex is FSC® certified (156318). The authority on forest certification, the independent Forest Stewardship Council certification means the material comes from a company that manages forests in a way that preserves biological diversity and benefits the lives of local people and workers while ensuring it sustains economic viability.

Packaging	Our Mini Molded Latex Pillow ships flat via FedEx. To open your pillow, simply remove it from its vacuum-sealed wrapper, and within a few minutes, it's ready to go! (Please note: our pillows and mattresses usually ship separately and may arrive at different times.)
No Chemical Flame Retardants	The Mini Molded Latex Pillow contains no chemical flame retardants (charcoal-infused latex is inherently fire resistant) known to release VOCs and impact human health. We do not add them because we believe they generally do more harm than good. (FYI: Pillows are not required to pass The Standard for the Flammability of Mattresses and Mattress Pads, issued by the CPSC. Therefore, it is logical that ignition sources should be kept safely away from any pillow containing natural materials without chemical flame retardants.)
Charcoal-Infused Latex	The latex with charcoal infusion is a high-functioning core designed to regulate odor, moisture, and temperatures while providing firm neck support.
GOTS-Certified Organic Cotton	For a luxurious and premium finish, we use GOTS-certified organic cotton - and no polyester fibers. Responsibly and ethically sourced from India, this durable textile provides an ideal exterior to our Mini Molded Latex Pillow. And we don't use harmful substances during or after processing, including banned substances, toxic chemicals, pesticides, and dyes.
Care	Spot clean or machine wash your pillow cover with cold water on a gentle cycle. Hang in a sunny, breezy spot to air dry. Do not bleach.
Legal Label	A law label is a legally required tag or label on a new pillow describing interior filling materials. Few companies will share this information before your purchase because it separates fact from marketing hype. We believe differently. The legal tag on the standard Avocado Molded Latex Pillow says: Made with internal materials (based on weight) consisting of Natural Latex (100%), plus a 100% Organic Cotton Cover.
