We fill our pillow inserts generously with a blend of GOLS-certified organic latex ribbons, upcycled from our mattress production, and GOTS-certified organic kapok fiber. These materials are sustainably sourced and processed in our facilities in India and Guatemala. Latex provides support, resilience, durability, and temperature control, similar to our mattresses. Kapok fiber, sourced from the Ceiba pentandra tree, offers the luxurious smoothness of silk and the fluffiness of cotton, making it an ideal, eco-friendly, and vegan alternative to down.

Our Organic Throw Pillow inserts come voluminously stuffed, delivering a medium-plush feel. Give them a good shake and fluff regularly. If you prefer to change its level of support, a convenient zipper enables you to add or remove fill to meet your ideal volume, firmness, and style preference . You can always also purchase more fill to increase volume and extend the life of your insert.

Pillow Refill Packages	Your Organic Throw Pillow Insert comes oversized and stuffed for simple, customized comfort. To add volume to your pillow or to extend its life, you can add pillow refill. Additional refill packages can be purchased in two convenient sizes.
No Chemical Flame Retardants	The Organic Throw Pillow Insert contains no chemical flame retardants known to release VOCs and impact human health. We do not add them because we believe they generally do more harm than good. (FYI: Pillows are not required to pass the Standard for the Flammability of Mattresses and Mattress Pads, issued by the CPSC. Therefore, it is logical that ignition sources should be kept safely away from any pillow containing natural materials without chemical flame retardants.)
Vegan Certified - No Wool or Animal Products	Avocado vegan products contain no animal or animal byproducts, such as wool. We do, however, produce products that do contain wool and shared machinery and facilities are used between our vegan and non-vegan products. However, we have demonstrated verifiable acceptable steps to thoroughly clean and sanitize all surfaces, tools, and machinery used between vegan and non-vegan production cycles to minimize cross-contamination.
